Student assaults guard

Hyderabad, February 7 (Siasat News): An MBA student assaulted a watchman, Venkatramanna Chari, of HDFC bank ATM at Nagolichinta.

The guard did not allow the student to enter the ATM center with a toothbrush in his hand. The accused was identified as K Anil, 25, a resident of Shivajinagar in Uppuguda.

Following a complaint by Chari, the Shahlibanda police registered a case and further investigations are on.

Dowry: Man kills wife

Hyderabad, February 7 (Siasat News): After harassing his wife for more dowry, a husband killed his wife.

According to the details, Sridevi, resident of Chikadpally, was strangulated to death by her husband Ravi Kumar in their house. After committing the crime, Ravi Kumar fled from the scene.

Police said that he was harassing his wife for Rs. 65,000 and the over the non-fulfillment of his demand, he took the extreme step of killing his wife.

Used railway ticket sellers held

Hyderabad, February 7 (Siasat News): Sleuths of Commissioner’s Task force, North Zone team on Sunday arrested two persons selling used railway tickets at Secunderabad Railway Station and 17 tickets were seized.

The accused were identified as Shada Iliah, 39, and Ganarapu Chandramouli, 32, both natives of Warangal.

The duo was arrested by the police last year for committing a similar offence.
