Accident claims woman’s life
Hyderabad, April 6 (Siasat News): Jeevitha Bai, 45, died after she fell from a running autorickshaw and suffered injuries at Bowenpally on Tuesday.
The accident took place at Suchitra junction after the auto driver allegedly applied brakes suddenly.
Suspicious death
Hyderabad, April 6 (Siasat News): A 21-year-old house keeping employee working in a major software firm at Gachibowli died under suspicious circumstances on Monday.
The victim, Abhishek Durga Raj, resident of Nanakramguda, used to work as a housekeeper at the software firm’s premises at Gachibowli.
The youth collapsed while working with froth coming from his mouth. He was declared brought dead by the doctors.
Cops held for assault
Hyderabad, April 6 (Siasat News): The Humayun Nagar police on Tuesday arrested three constables and two home guards attached to Langar Houz police station for reportedly assaulting and abusing locals of Pocham Basti under the influence of alcohol.
According to the police, cases were registered against the home guards Anand and Krishna and three constables Srisailam, Sanjeeva and Venkatesh. They were held and sent to judicial custody.
