Charred body of a woman found
Hyderabad, May 18 (Siasat News): The charred body of a woman was found in Jeedimetla. According to the details, the unidentified woman aged 25, was murdered and later her body was burnt beyond recognition.
Police Jeedimetla has registered a case and started the investigations.
Convict fled from the jail
Hyderabad, May 18 (Siasat News): An inmate of the high security jail at Cherlapally, fled.
30-year-old Ravi was a convict of the murder case and was shifted to Cherlapally jail in 2008. In 2009, he was shifted to Cherlapally open jail.
In the meantime, the sub-inspector of Kushaiguda police station Syedulu said that Cherlapally jail authorities have lodged a complaint in this regard.
Old city search operation, Big amount recovered
Hyderabad, May 18 (Siasat News): Mir chowk police has recovered Rs. 36,00,000 from a trader during the search operation in old city.
It is said that during the search operation, Shiv Kumar, a resident of Amberpet, was thoroughly checked by the police and recovered a big sum of Rs. 36,00,000 in cash.
Shiv Kumar claimed that he was a jeweler but failed to provide a strong evidence. Police seized the money and investigations are on.
Hoax bomb call
Hyderabad, May 18 (Siasat News): A bomb threat call to IT Raheja Park, Madhapur, sent police in a tizzy on Monday.
After screening the premises for explosive, police declared that it was hoax call.
Decomposed body of cop found
Hyderabad, May 18 (Siasat News): A highly decomposed body of a head constable with CID, city wing, Christopher Acharya, 52, was found at dead at his residence situated at police lines, Yousufguda.
However, forensic experts said he died due to a massive heart attack. He had heart attack twice earlier.
A case was registered under section 174 (suspicious death) of the Criminal Procedure Code.
