Store robbed of laptops

Hyderabad, May 11 (Siasat News): As many as 18 laptops were stolen from an electronic store at Himayathnagar on Sunday.

On Monday morning, the shutter of the store was found broken and the laptops were missing.

The DCP, Mr. Akun Sabharwal said that the store had no central locking system and no CCTV cameras, which could have helped the police nab the culprits.

Cash stolen from railway station

Hyderabad, May 11 (Siasat News): A briefcase containing around Rs. 21 lakh went missing from the ticket booking counter at Kachiguda railway station.

The amount was to be deposited in a bank. Sources said that the briefcase was left unattended at the ticket counter.

According to Kachiguda Railway Police, ticket collections are deposited in the bank everyday.

But the collections since Friday could not be deposited as Saturday and Sunday were holidays.

The cashiers intimated the RPF personnel, left the briefcase in a corner of the ticket counter and went back to work.

However, the briefcase was missing when the RPF personnel came to take it to the bank.
