Cricketer turned Politician Azharuddin demands apology from KCR

Hyderabad: Former Indian cricket captain Mohammed Azharuddin is demanding an apology from CM KCR for intimidating a person who has questioned him for not fulfilling his promise of allotting 12% reservations to Muslims in Telangana state.

Mr. Azharuddin is working as Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee’s president (TPCC).

Addressing a press conference in Hyderabad, he said Mr. Rao should have answered the question rather than threatening the person who questioned him about reservations.

KCR’s remarks were ‘third class’ and he became a CM only because of these people he reminded, The Hindu reports.

“You made the promise and you have to answer for not fulfilling it,” he said.

Azharuddin will be the fourth working president in Telangana is keen on contesting from Secunderabad Parliamentary constituency.
