Hyderabad: Congress national president Rahul Gandhi has appointed former MP Mohammed Azharuddin as working president, BM Vinod Kumar and noted academician Zafar Javeed as vice-presidents. Mohammed Faheem and seven others including Manavatha Roy and Krishank. S Jagadeeshwara Rao, Nagesh Mudiraj, T Narsa Reddy, Kailash and Laxma Reddy were appointed as general secretaries. Azharuddin becomes the fourth working president for TPCC.
Mohamed Azharuddin is the former Congress Member of Parliament, Zafar Javeed has previously served as secretary Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee. Mohammed Faheem was serving as spokesman of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee. He has been elevated to the post of General Secretary.
Congress general Secretary Ashok Gehlot announced the appointments.
