Andhra Pradesh Congress senior leader C Ramachandraiah has exuded confidence that former PCC chief Botcha Satyanarayana would not leave the Congress as the latter is a good leader.
Speaking to the media here on Saturday, Ramachandraiah alleged that the TDP Mahanaadu was held for a self-praise by Chandrababu Naidu and criticize others. The BJP leaders were speaking in one tone in the morning and another version on ‘special status’ to Andhra Pradesh State in the evening.
It may be recalled that the YSRCP MPs and MLAs called on Botcha on Friday evening at the latter’s residence to request him to embrace YSRCP. Botcha too sent positive signals to the YSRCP feelers. It is learnt that Botcha put some conditions to switch his loyalty to the YSRCP.
Another leader PCC vice-president Anam Vivekananda Reddy said the APCC chief N. Raghuveera Reddy will visit the districts from June 2. He said the party will discuss extensively on the special status to AP, Duggaraja Patnam Port issue and will take decisions on them. (NSS)
