Hyderabad, August 02: Two central processing units (CPU) and one computer monitor have been stolen from the Finance Department located in the ”D” Block of the Andhra Pradesh Secretariat (a high security zone) here, police said today.
The theft came to light when the staff in Finance Department came for duty at around 10.30 am today and noticed that two CPUs and one computer monitor were missing, they said.
Section officer A Venkatesh Rao lodged a complaint in this regard with Saifabad Police and a theft case was registered, a police officer said.
Police suspect that the theft might have occurred last night.
