CPM urges Centre to recast Krishna Tribunal

CPI-M Telangana State Council has urged the Centre to re-look at the Brijesh Kumar Tribunal verdict on allocation of Krishna Water to Telangana State adding Telangana State as fourth party in Krishna Water dispute.
Speaking to the media here on Thursday, CPM Telangana State Council secretary Thammineni Veerabhadram said Telangana State was suffering loss as Tribunal delivered its verdict without taking into consideration the Mahbubnagar and Nalgonda districts, which were facing severe drought due to lack of rains.
Extending solidarity to the nationwide Transport Bandh, Thammineni urged Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao not to accept enhancement of private medical colleges fees. He also addressed a letter to the Chief Minister in this regard. (NSS)
