CPM poser to KCR on labor policy

CPM State secretary Thammineni Veerabhadram has said that creation of ‘Bangaru Telangana’ was not possible without doing social justice.

 

Addressing the May Day meeting organized by the CITU at Sundaraiah Vignana Kendram here on Sunday, Thammineni questioned the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who was stating that his government was labor welfare one, as to why he was not fulfilling the demands of the labor. Wishing to increase the assets of Telangana state, CPM state secretary said that it was not possible to achieve ‘Bangaru Telangana’ without doing justice to the social forces. He asked the Chief Minister to tell as to what was the government policy towards SCs and as to what it was adopting towards them for the last two years. Asking the people to think on KCR policies, Thammineni criticised that the government was not doing any effort towards creation of BC sub-plan though the CPM waging war on it.

CPM politburo member BV Raghavulu alleged that the BJP government at Centre resorting to attacks on labor rights. He made it clear that the present governments have no right to speak on the rights of laborer. (NSS)
