CPM MLA ridicules resignation drama

Hyderabad, July 4: CPM MLA Julakanti Ranga Reddy has appealed to the central government to take a decision on Telangana and clear the uncertainty at the earliest.
In a statement here on Sunday, Reddy alleged that Congress leaders and ministers were divided on regional lines. Submitting resignations and withdrawing them later became a farce in the state, he remarked.
Accusing the Congress of dragging the Telangana issue and resorting to political opportunism, he said that even after constituting several committees, the Congress failed to take a decision but complicated the issue further. As a result, people’s issues remained unsolved, Ranga Reddy said.
The Congress should put a full stop to its opportunistic politics and take a clear stand on the Telangana demand so that the government can concentrate on addressing pressing grievances of the people, he said.
