CPM Politburo member B V Raghavulu has said the life of party giant Putchalapally Sundaraiah was a role-model to the present generation. “Selfishness, partiality and over action have become part and parcel of the present-day politicians”, he bemoaned.
Raghavulu and party leaders paid floral tributes at Putchalapally Sundaraiah statute at Bagh Lingampally Park here on Tuesday. Speaking on the occasion, Raghavulu said Sundaraiah spared no efforts for the uplift of the poor and downtrodden section and led a simple life till his last breath. He suggested to the leaders of other political parties to follow political values and personal values of the late leader. Stating that Sundaraiah always strove for development, he lamented that the present-day leaders were looting the exchequer immediately after wresting power. (NSS)
