Communist party of India (Marxist) state secretary B V Raghavulu on Saturday accused the State Government of acting in favour of corporate hospitals.
Taking to media persons, Raghavulu condemned the government for its stubborn attitude in not resolving the junior doctors issue and leaving the people to their own fate. Without addressing the genuine demands of junior doctors, he said the government has provoked them to the extent that they boycotted the emergency services.
Due to the irresponsible behaviour of the government, he said the people were losing confidence on the government hospitals and heading to private hospitals. He alleged that the government wants to dilute the agitation of the junior doctors by foisting false cases against them.
Raghuvulu warned that the CPI(M) would intensify its protest if the government fails to address the genuine demands of junior doctors. (INN)
