CPI seeks all party meeting on unbundling of PSEB

Chandigarh, April 06: The Communist Party of India today asked the Punjab government to hold an all-party meeting to discuss the unbundling of the state electricity board and make its policy on the issue public.

In a joint statement, CPI national executive member Joginder Dayal and state council secretary Bhupinder Samber alleged the unbundling of PSEB was nothing but the privatisation of PSEB.

The party said it would continue its full support to organisations fighting against the step.
