“We are very sad to know the tragic news of Himalayan earthquake flattening Nepal, India and other neighboring countries. More than 1500 perished and many got injured. Many buildings, including historical monuments and houses of people collapsed”, the CPI leaders have stated here.
In a statement, Dr K. Narayana, scretary, Communist Party of India and Palla Venkat Reddy, former MLA and president, CPI Natural Calamities Relief Fund expressed deep condolences to massive deaths and conveyed sympathies to the bereaved families of deceased.
The CPI is sending Rs one lakh as a token to the Natural Calamities Relief Fund. (NSS)
