Hyderabad, March 31: The CPI (Maoist) will build country-wide people’s struggle to avenge the killings of Maoist leaders Sakhamuri Appa Rao and Kondal Reddy.
In a statement today, CPI (Maoist) Central committee spokesperson Azad said that the struggles are intended to “sweep away the fascist regime led by Sonia-Manmohan-Chidambaram gang.’’ “Let us pay our red revolutionary homage to Appa Rao and Kondal Reddy pledging to carry forward their cherished dreams.
Let us avenge their martyrdom by defeating brutal armed offensive unleashed by comparador- feudal ruling classes. Let us transform PLGA into PLA, guerrilla war into mobile war and guerrilla zones into base areas,’’ Azad said.
He said the party would train thosuands of able Red successors to martyred leaders and develop several Maoist leaders from oppressed masses of India. The Maoist spokesperson said that Appa Rao and Kondal Reddy were murdered in cold blood by “notorious goons belonging to AP Special Investigation Bureau and the AP Grey Hounds.’’ The two leaders were abducted two days earlier from Chennai and Pune respectively, and were tortured and were taken to forests where they were shot dead in cold blood, Azad said.
