CPI-M State secretary B V Raghavulu has demanded that the State government itself operate liquor shops and sand quarries in the State.
Speaking to media persons here on Tuesday, Raghavulu lashed out at the State government for neglecting six lakh contract employees, who were getting minimum wages in the State. He said that his party was always in the forefront in fighting for labour rights.
The CPI-M has stressed the need for launching agitation for rights of the workers. Demanding that the State government regularize services of six lakh contract employees, he said that his party would be constrained to launch agitation shortly. (NSS)
