A delegation of Communist Party of India called on collector Rangareddy and demanded temporary shelter to Burmese refugees staying in Rajendranagar. The delegation led by former Rajya Sabha MP Aziz Pasha comprised of Mir Ahmed Ali, Muneer Patel, Shaikh Shamsuddin, Zaheer Khan, Osman bin Mohammed Alhajari and others.
A written request was also handed over to Rangareddy collector which stated that 400 500 Rohingya Muslims were staying in Rajendranagar hence CPI demanded temporary shelter for them on humanitarian basis.
