Communist Party of India (CPI)-Central Office today extended congratulations to the LDF for winning the elections in Kerala.
In a pressnote here today, CPI national secretary Dr K Narayana stated that Anna DMK in Tamil Nadu and TMC in West Bengal surprisingly won the elections again. The Congress, Left alliance in West Bengal faced bitter experience though they left their ideals aside. He said the CPI will review the situation in West Bengal by discussing it thoroughly in a party national executive meeting to be held on May 28 and 29. He said the party also failed to get the support of the people in Puducherry and Tamil Nadu and opined that the people satisfied all political parties by ensuring victory to the BJP in Asom. (NSS)
