Hyderabad: CPI State Secretary Chada Venkat Reddy on Wednesday hailed the interim orders of the Telangana High Court to declare the results of reverified answer sheets on May 27, 2019. He said his party was welcoming the decision of the High Court and added that it would benefit 3.82 lakh failed students in the State.

In a statement here today, Venkat Reddy also demanded that the State government pay an exgratia of Rs 50 lakh to the family members of the Intermediate students, who have committed suicide following their failure in their exams. He said the court also made it clear to the State Government should not delay the payment of compensation on flimsy grounds. Reddy said Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao should open his eyes and take steps to do justice to all the failed Intermediate students, including payment of ex gratia to those who committed suicides.
