CPI exhorts countrymen to back bandh call

Rajahmundry: Urging the people to extend support to Bharat bandh to be observed on November 28 in protest against the demonetisation of big notes by the Centre, CPI national leader Dr K Narayana has said the BJP leaders’ true colors would come out if one examined the bank accounts of BJP leaders since the last three months before the announcement of demonetisation of big notes by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Speaking to the media here on Sunday, Narayana alleged that the Prime Minister took demonetisation of big notes decision only to protect the corporate tycoons and dacoits. The corporate companies would have dethroned Narendra Modi from Prime Minister post had they really faced losses with the demonetisation of big notes, he alleged. He also demanded that the Centre deposit Rs 1 lakh in the bank accounts of each farmer in the country. Narayana also dared Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu and BJP Chief Amith Shaw not to take food for 50 days. (NSS)
