CPI demands white paper on State financial status

CPI state secretary Chada Venkat Reddy has demanded the state government to release a white paper on the status of state’s comprehensive financial status immediately. He also asked the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to re-think on the decision taken in the Cabinet meeting on demolition of the Secretariat and construction of new Secretariat.

He alleged that it was not proper to the Chief Minister to leave the assurances made by him before the elections to the wind and also said that it was not proper to the TRS leaders to brand Telangana political JAC chairman Prof. M Kodandaram as the agent of Congress party.

After releasing the wall poster on the CPI Rashtra Nirmana Mahasabha to be held from November 28 to 30 at Warangal here on Saturday at Maqdhoom Bhavan, Chada urged the Chief Minister to visit the Osmania University once to know the problems facing by the students and review the situation prevailed in the campus. He said that the party would chalk out future action plan after discussing the problems of the people facing in the state at the Nirmanasabha. He said that the party would conduct a public meeting on November 30 at Hanmakonda Junior College Grounds on the conclusion day of the Mahasabha.

He said that the party national leaders Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy, Dr K Narayana, Palla Venkat Reddy, Siddi Venkateshwarlu, Thakkallapally Srinivasarao would participate in the meeting. He informed that eminent cine musician Vandematharam Srinivas, Epuri Somanna and Prajanatyamandali artists would perform cultural programs on the occasion. He said that the party appointed 13 district committees and the remaining 18 district committees would be completed very soon. (NSS)
