Communist Party of India floor leader G Mallesh on Wednesday stated that the government could focus its attention on all other important issues if it moves a resolution on Telangana state in the House immediately.
Talking to reporters at Assembly media point, he said that the House could take up discussion on students’ scholarships, drought and junior doctors strike if it addresses the Telangana issue. Apart from public issues, he said that the House should also discuss liquor scam as many ruling party members and ministers were involved in it.
Mallesh said that attention was diverted from all primary issues as the government has failed to move a resolution on Telangana. Stating that precious time of two days has already been wasted, he said at least now the government introduce the resolution and help for smooth running of House. (INN)
