CPI State secretary Dr K Narayana has demanded that the State government order an inquiry into the “Visakha Manyam scam” in coffee, rice and other products.
Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, Narayana alleged that the State and Central governments were adopting dual standards on the Telangana issue. He demanded that the government prove its sincerity by dismissing tainted ministers from the Cabinet. He also asked the government to pass a unanimous resolution in the Cabinet to cancel the Bauxite agreement at Manya Seema. (NSS)
