CPI demands CBI enquiry into MANUU irregularities and scams

Demanding CBI enquiry into irregularities and scams prevailing in Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Communist Party of India has decided to initiate public movement. In this connection a protest sit-in will be staged by CPI and its sub-organisation Tanzeem-e-Insaaf on April 27 near Urdu University.

Senior CPI leader and former MP (Rajya Sabha) Aziz Pasha told that representation would be made with Human Resource Development Ministry and President Pranab Mukherjee. Aziz Pasha alleged that that Vice Chancellor is violating university rules by making large scale appointments just before the expiry of his term. He issued notification in two stages for appointment on more than 100 key posts which is immoral as per university regulations.

He told that CBI enquiry should be conducted in irregularities and scams of MANUU so that the facts are exposed.
