State CPI secretary Dr K Narayana has questioned as to why the State government was allotting Solar Power projects to the Private sector denying the same to the Public Sector Genco.
Dr Narayana shot off a letter to Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy in this regard on Thursday. In the letter, the CPI leader found fault with the government for allotting valuable lands and other sources to private persons ignoring the prestigious electricity generating company Genco. He has demanded that the State government convene an all-party meeting to discuss the Cabinet Sub-Committee decisions on Solar Power production. (NSS)
