Hyderabad: In order to foil the evil designs of fascist forces and also to stop the formation of Hindu State, CPI constituted a national level secular democratic front.
In a three-day national council meeting of CPI held at Kolam in Kerala, a resolution was passed to associate all the secular parties with this front.
In the said meeting, Mr. Syed Waliullah Qadri, President of AISF, former Rajya Sabha MP of CPI, Mr. Syed Aziz Pasha, Mr. Chada Venkat Reddy and P. Venkat were elected as the members of the national council.
Mr. S. Sudhakar Reddy was elected as National General Secretary of the CPI for the third term. In the meeting of the CPI, it was decided to take a stern stand to curb fascist forces in the country.
