Telangana State Council of Communist Party of India has extended its support to the striking 108 employees.
In a pressnote here on Tuesday, Telangana State CPI secretary Chada Venkata Reddy extended his support to the demands of 108 employees i.e. job security, eight-hour work, minimum wages, reinstatement of 45 employees who participated in the strike in the past, recognize outsourcing employees as regular employees, construct sheds to store medicines, provide new equipment, diesel and oxygen and eight-month maternity leave to women employees.
Justifying 108 employees’ strike, the CPI leader slammed the State government and the GMR as both were not responding to the strike. He demanded that the government concede their demands to make the employees end the strike. (NSS)
