CPI State secretary Chada Venkat Reddy today said allowing 100 percent FDIs means nothing but giving red carpet welcome to Multi-National Companies.
The CPI activists today burnt an effigy of the Union government at Himayatnagar Y Junction in protest against its decision of allowing 100 percent FDIs into single brand retail trading and construction sector.
Speaking on the occasion, Chada alleged that the BJP, which opposed FDI in retail sector, was now allowing 100 percent FDIs. He expressed fears that the Indian economy would go into the hands of foreign companies if allowed 100 percent FDIs into nation with the decision of the Union government.
