Hyderabad City Police Commissioner M. Mahender Reddy today stated the police department has strengthened the crime control system in Hyderabad.
After inaugurating 46 CCTV cameras worth Rs 25 lakh at Amberpet here on Wednesday, Mahender Reddy said the CCTV cameras would help police identify the criminals. He said the aim of the Hyderabad police was to make Hyderabad city on par with New York, London and Paris in regard to crime control. He also revealed that crime rate in Hyderabad was reduced o 14 percent when compared to past history. (NSS)
