With a view to maintain public order, peace and tranquility in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad, City Police Commissioner Anurag Sharma has prohibited bursting of fire crackers or throwing of fire works on the public roads and at public places in connection with the Counting of Votes of General Elections to the Lok Sabha and A.P. Legislative Assembly Constituencies on May 16 in twin cities.
The Police Commissioner has warned that any person violating the ban orders will be prosecuted. The ban order shall be in force with effect from 0600 hours on May 16 to 0600 hours on May 17 (NSS)
