New Delhi: Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati on Thursday commented on Dadri lynching and cow slaughter.
He said that by killing a Muslim, cow slaughter would not end but the government will have to put an end to cow meat export.
“Killing a Muslim wouldn’t end cow slaughter. Government would have to ban beef export,” he quoted as saying to ABP.
Swaroopanand said cow was not only mother to Hindus but also to Muslims.
“Cow is not only mother to Hindus but also to Muslims. A Muslim motherless infant would drink milk of a cow, not eat its meat. By this logic, cow is also the mother of Muslims,” he said.
Talking about Azam Khan, who said that the government was making an attempt to create a Hindu ‘rashtra’ by banning cow slaughter and eating cow meat, but the government wanted to bring a ‘ram rajya’ where Muslims would also get equitableness.
Mohammad Akhlaq was killed in Dadri by a mob over rumours that he had cow meat in his fridge.
