London, April 26: Actress Courteney Cox claims she and David Arquette are an odd couple, like their ‘Scream 4’ characters – Dewey Riley and Gale Weathers-Riley.
“I love her relationship with David’s character Dewey and the fact that they’re together is so funny. He’s so earnest and she’s so out to get ahead. It’s just a very odd pairing and so were we. Although we’re not really, but we kind of are,” Cox told OK magazine.
The 46-year-old actress also admits that working on the film helped to bring the pair closer again, because of director-and-producer Wes Craven, who is the couple’s “relationship mentor”, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
“Wes was instrumental in us being together. He’s kind of our mentor in relationships and in growing up. To get the chance to come back and do it again is just really fun,” she added.
