Muzaffarpur, September 29: A Bihar court today summoned RJD chief Lalu Prasad, his wife Rabri Devi and LJP president Ramvilas Paswan to personally appear in connection with a case related to violence during the state-wide bandh called by the two parties against price rise in January.
Chief Judicial Magistrate Arun Kumar Singh asked Prasad, leader of the opposition in the assembly Rabri Devi and Paswan to ppear in the court on October 6 to facilitate framing of charges in the case.
The court passed the order in a case filed by advocate Sudhir Ojha who had charged RJD and LJP party workers with ransacking, causing damage to public properties and resorting to forcible closure of offices and shops to enforce the state-wide bandh called by the two parties against price rise on January 28.
Ojha had also alleged that RJD-LJP activists indulged in a scuffle with him on that day.
