Kochi, Nov. 26 : The National Investigation Agency ( NIA) special court would pronounce the quantum of punishment to the five SIMI activists in connection with the 2006 secret meeting case on November 30.
The court had earlier decided to pronounce the punishment today.
The court had found the five guilty yesterday under various Sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.
According to the police, the five SIMI activists had assembled at an auditorium near Kochi for anti-national activities.
17 people were earlier accused in the case while 11 were acquitted. One who was 13 years old at the time of arrest is presently undergoing trial at a juvenile court. (ANI)
