Mr. Osmab Bin Mohammed Al-Hajiri, President of Deccan Wakf Properties Protection Society had filed a petition in the court under the instructions from Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor of The Siasat Daily saying that some miscreants have made an attempt to dismantle the Muslim graves located at oontwadi in Chudi Bazar to convert it into stable for horses. They are desecrating the sanctity of the graveyard and spreading filth and dirt. This graveyard is a notified Wakf property. Its area is 3300 Sq. Yards.
He submitted his petition to Wakf Board, local police and the Department of Minorities Walfare but no action was initiated.
He them, filed a petition through Mr. Syed Kaleemuddin, Advocate in the court of the Justice Mr. Sanjay Kumar requesting him to take action against these departments.
The judge issued notices to the Dept. of Minorities Welfare, Commissioner of Police and Inspector of Police, Shah Inayath Gunj. The judge posted this case for hearing on 12th April 2013.
It may be noted that the miscreant are dismantling the graves and leveling the ground to enable them to tie their horses and camels.
