Bahraich (UP), April 06: A local court today fixed April 13 as the next date for hearing charges filed against the three Chinese nationals, who were arrested after allegedly entering the country without valid documents and taking pictures of vital installations.
The Chinese nationals — Ching Rong, X U Dangli and Yang Liu (woman) — were taken from Lucknow and produced in the court of chief judicial magistrate Satya Prakash Dwiwedi, prosecution sources said.
The trio were given copies of charge sheet filed against them, they said.
An application was moved before the court under Section 207 of the CrPC requesting to provide copies of the charge sheet without depositing the court fees, defence counsel Shabi-ul-Hasan said.
The Chinese nationals, including a woman, had already been shifted to Lucknow jail on directions of the Uttar Pradesh government.
