Hyderabad: Nampally Metropolitan Court rejected the petition of Special Investigation Team for cancellation of bail given to Abdullah Basith who is alleged to have contacts with ISIS.
It was alleged that a private TV Channel had telecast an interview on 10th May after which SIT registered a case against Abdullah Basith, Hannan Qureshi and Salman Mohiuddin Qadri. SIT had filed a petition to cancel the bail given to Abdullah Basith in the previous case.
Mr. M.A. Azeem, Advocate argued that the interview of his client telecast by a private channel is fake and Abdullah Basith is recording his attendance every week at SIT office. He claimed that video has tampered.
The judge dismissed the petition of SIT.
