In the backdrop of personal rift between chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy and Majlis leadership, Majlis’ effort to teach a lesson to Congress proves dear to its MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi and government is tightening noose around him. Cases are being registered one after another, against Akbaruddin Owaisi who is said to be presently spending holidays in London.
The controversy over hate speeches by Majlis MLA is intensifying day by day. People across the country are expressing concern over the manner of speeches and it is being condemned from every corner of the society.
Two cases have been registered in Nirmal and Nizamabad and on Thursday the 4th Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate has directed to register case under section 153 A (promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, race, place of birth, language etc and doing acts prejudicial to maintenance of harmony) against Akbaruddin Owaisi on the petition filed by a businessman of Lalapet S Venkatesh Goud.
According to detail S Venkatesh Goud had filed a petition in Nampally court few days ago, in which he alleged that Akbar Owaisi’s provocative speech was telecast on 4TV on 8th and 9th December following which communal hatred triggered in twin cities between the two communities. It has also been alleged that the MLA has used offensive words which have hurt the sentiments of majority community. Venkatesh Goud in his petition also alleged that Akbar Owaisi has deliberately tried to spread communal hatred through TV channel and social network website.
