Hyderabad: Chief Judge of Hyderabad City Civil Court disqualified TRS corporator of Kachiguda on the charge of suppressing information about having more than two children.
The Judge declared the defeated candidate of BJP eligible for this position.
According to the details, A. Chaitanya, of TRS ward 80 of Kachiguda was declared elected in the GHMC elections.
Soon after her defeat, K. Uma Rani of BJP filed a complaint with the Election Tribunal that Chaitanya has more than two children which she had concealed while filing her nomination.
After examining the records, the Judge declared Chaitanya ineligible.
