(Siasat News) Acting Chief Justice Mr. P.K. Ghosh and Mr. Justice Praveen Kumar of A.P. High Court directed the Joint Director of CBI Mr. V.V. Lakshminarayana to explain the reasons for making telephone calls to media persons. He has been given time till 9th July to submit his explanation.
Mr. Bhavanam Bhooshan alleged that Mr. Lakshminarayana has been making phone calls to the press reporters of Andhra Jyothi and Eenadu. Union Home Secretary, BSNL, Eenadu and Andhra Jyothi are made parties in Jagan’s case. YSR Congress party exposed the phone calls data of Mr. Lakshminarayana in which he made many calls to his friend M.S. Vasi Reddy Chandrabala. It is alleged that CBI Officer has hatched a conspiracy against Jagan. YSR Congress also alleged that he contacted media persons who are involved in the character assassination campaign of Jagan. He was also in contact with the Managing Director of a journalistic institution.
Police had registered a case against the reporter of Sakshi for exposing telephone calls report. Ms. Chandrabala had lodged a complaint with the police. Cyberabad police submitted a report to the Human Rights Commission about the telephone calls of Ms. Chandrabala.
