Batala: A couple was killed and their two young children were injured when their car hit a stationery tractor trolley near Bohjha village on Ghoman Mehta road today, police said.
Kamalnayan Singh (28) and his wife Manju (27), resident of Amritsar were killed and their daughter (6) and son (3) were injured, the police said.
Kamalnayan Singh died on the spot while his wife Manju died on way to Guru Nanak Hospital Amritsar.
Their children were admitted to a private hospital at Amritsar.
A case has been registered against the driver of tractor who was absconding.
