Ahmedabad, April 29: A first of its kind electricity museum that displays evolution of power from the vedic days to the nuclear power generation age through interactive models was today inaugurated in Gujarat.
The museum ‘CLP Electrodrome’, which, exhibits a wide range of computer-based interactive models of electricity generation, transmission and distribution, was thrown open for public by Chief Minister Narendra Modi at the science city here.
“Such museums can cater to the child’s need in quest for knowledge with entertainment and can help instill scientific temper in them,” Modi said, while addressing the gathering.
“This is one of its kind museum in the country that displays evolution of power right from the vedic days to today’s nuclear power generation age, explaining science of electricity through various interactive models,” he said.
