State social welfare minister Pitani Satyanarayana said that the results of Karnataka were an evidence that the entire country was ready to work under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi, vice president of the Congress.
Talking to the media at the secretariat on Wednesday, he said BJP was defeated because of disunity and corruption. He said these results were also indicative of Congress party coming back to power in the next elections.
Pitani said the government under the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy was giving no scope to corruption or irregularities. He has exuded confidence that Congress would elect Congress back to power in the next elections.(NSS)
