The Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council was adjourned for day without transacting any business with the members obstructing the proceedings demanding withdrawal of price hike in power charges.
The members stormed the podium and raised slogans against the government demanding roll back of the proposed hike in power tariff. When there was no let in the situation, Chairman Dr A Chakarapani adjourned the House for the day. (INN)
