London, Nov.2 : Chelsea striker Diego Costa will not face any punishment from Football Association for his tussle with Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel during the Premier League match against Liverpool at Stamford Bridge.
According to the Guardian, the incident took place when Costa appeared to dig his boot into Skrtel’s chest as both fell to the ground during their 1-3 loss to Liverpool.
The 27-year-old had earlier been banned twice by the association.
Recently, Costa was handed a three-match ban for his ‘violent conduct’ against Arsenal centre-back Laurent Koscielny and a similar sanction for stamping on midfielder Emre Can of Liverpool in January. (ANI)
