Afzalgunj police have detected the theft case and recovered the entire case property, i.e. cosmetic and general items worth Rs. Six lakh, by apprehending the accused in the Crime.
East Zone Deputy Commissioner of Police, Y Gangadhar, said in a press note today that the accused, Magha Ram S/o Kavara Ram, Age 21 years, and Bhaghawana Ram, S/o Devaram, Age 20 years, both hailing from Shindhary of Rajasthan State, were arrested by the police.
On May 31, the police received a complaint from Mr Kishore Jain, Cosmetic & General goods businessman of Sri Sai Datta Estate, Shahinayathgunj, stating that some unknown culprits entered into his godown by false key i.e. M/s Akash Enterprises at Begum Bazar and stolen away cosmetic and general goods worth Rs.six lakh. Basing on this complaint, Afzalgunj police registered a case and took up investigation.
During the course of investigation, Mr K. Sudarshan, Detective Inspector of Police, verified the antecedents of present and previous workers of the complainant. On credible information, the Afzalgunj police apprehended Magharam and Baghawana Ram who are the previous workers of the complainant at their room at Gowliguda Chaman on Monday, and basing on their confession Afzalgunj crime staff recovered the case property woRth Rs.six lakh.
The good work was done by Mr Sudarshan, and SI Mr S. Ravi Babu along with Afzalgunj PS crime staff under the supervision of Mr M. V. Rao, Addl. DCP, East Zone. The staff will be rewarded suitably, the DCP informed. (NSS)
