There are many complains that abnormal delays are taking place in releasing scholarships and reimbursement of fees to the poor students by A.P. State Minorities Finance Corporation. This situation has occurred due to entrusting the work to the Department of Social Welfare whereas the fact is the Executive Directors of Minorities Finance Corporation is involved in corruption. They are forwarding scholarship applications to Dept. of Social Welfare only after accepting bride. Many students have made complaints in this regard that the officials are demanding Rs.300 to Rs.500 from the student.
The Department of Minorities Welfare is requested to investigate the matter immediately.
