Telangana government had announced to provide auto-rickshaws to 1783 poor families of Hyderabad and Rangareddy but Minority Finance Corporation has failed to implement the scheme so far. Government is disappointed by the performance of Corporation as Chief Minister wanted to release the auto-rickshaws under the scheme, on the occasion of Minority Welfare Day on November 11 but the corporation is not in a position to implement the scheme till date.
A number of applicants reach the office daily but they are not given satisfactory answer. Applicants also complained that bribe is demanded to register their application. Corporation workers, bank staff and brokers are working in a chain; until all of them are not bribed the file is not forwarded.
