New Delhi, April 19: Alleging that corruption has become Congress-centric, BJP today criticised the statements of some ruling party leaders against members of the Lokpal Bill drafting committee and asked UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi to clarify if she had given them instructions to do so.
“Today corruption is Congress-centric. This has been proven without doubt. We have given ample reasons. History and time is a proof of that. The recent wave of anger against corruption is primarily Congress-centric,” BJP spokesperson Rajiv Pratap Rudy said.
He insisted that there was a “growing restlessness and insecurity” in the Congress today and hence the BJP is concerned about the drafting of the Lokpal Bill.
“BJP wants to see the draft bill.
